Reading have been drawn to face Isthmian League South side, Marlow in the quarter-finals of this season's Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup.
The Royals' Under-23s entered the competition under the Reading FC moniker last season for Reading's first involvement in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup since 2002, and Scott Marshall's side finished as runners-up after losing 3-1 to Slough Town in the final back in May.
After impressive results against local senior sides last season, the young Royals have entered into the competition once more at the quarter-final stage - with further EFL representation in the form of sides from Wycombe Wanderers and MK Dons entering the draw in the last eight along with last season's winners, Slough.
Reading won the inaugural running of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup back in 1878, and are three-time winners of the competition - having last picked up the trophy in the 1994-95 season.
A host of local non-league teams entered the tournament earlier in the season, with Didcot Town, Newport Pagnell Town, Hungerford Town and Marlow making it through three rounds to reach this stage.
The Royals' opponents overcame National League opposition in the last round, overcoming Maidenhead United with a 3-1 win on penalties in the last 16.
