14 January 2020

Mark Bowen has rung the changes for the FA Cup once more as a young Royals side take on Blackpool at Bloomfield Road this evening.

The Royals boss has again made eleven changes to his starting eleven, starting Tom McIntyre in his return from injury.

Danny Loader earns a start after his clever equaliser against the Tangerines at the Madejski ten days ago, while former Blackpool hero Charlie Adam has travelled and is named on the Reading bench.

Garath McCleary wears the captain's armband tonight and Sone Aluko has recovered from illness to also take a place amongst the substitutes.

Striker Ben House and defender Jeriel Dorsett have been named in the first team squad for the first time, taking their place on the bench at Bloomfield Road in the hope they can add their name to the list of Academy graduates who have broken into the Royals' first team.

Blackpool make one change to the side that earned a 2-2 draw at the Madejski, MacDonald being replaced by James Husband in the starting eleven.

Blackpool: Howard, Turton, Heneghan, Tilt, Husband, Virtue, Spearing (c), Feeney, Guy, Delfouneso, Gnanduillet.
Subs: Mafoumbi, Thorniley, Scannell, Thompson, Nuttall, Ward, MacDonald.

Reading: Walker, Howe, Richards, McIntyre, Burley, Rinomhota, McCleary, Olise, Obita, Loader, Boye.
Subs: Southwood, Aluko, Adam, East, Medford-Smith, House, Dorsett
