👩‍⚕️ Gallery | A thank you to all our NHS workers

In pictures our players pose with RBH workers throughout the last decade...

26 March 2020

Over the years, we have always visited the Royal Berkshire Hospital to support those who need their spirits lifting.

From delivering Christmas gifts, to surprising patients with Easter Eggs - our players have always put their hands up quickly to play their part in trips to the Royal Berks.

And, with every visit, those players always meet some of the inspirational NHS staff who work tirelessly to keep those undergoing treatment or in for operations as fit, safe, well and happy as possible on the wards.

We are always amazed at their dedication. But it is at times like these that we all truly appreciate the selfless work they all do for us every single day! Here are some photos of the heroes we are talking about from the last decade.

We just want to say, thank you. On behalf of everyone associated with Reading Football Club, we salute you!

To thank the NHS workers who are working tirelessly throughout this ongoing crisis in the UK, at 8pm on Thursday 26th March a campaign has been launched to observe a #ClapForOurCarers event dedicated to them.

The Clap For Our Carers campaign is designed to see people from across the UK applaud NHS workers from the doorsteps, balconies, windows of their homes or via social media, just to say thanks you for all of their hard work so far. We encourage our fans to join in with the Clap For Our Carers.

And remember, to help our NHS workers, we urge all our fans to get onside and stay inside!

Stay at home, save lives.
