7️⃣ games, 3️⃣ wins, 3️⃣ losses, 1️⃣ draw and 🔟 goals scored. Quite a month for the Royals, and now is your time to vote for your Goal of the Month.
The first two goals in contention come from the drama in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round replay, where the Royals travelled to the Cardiff City Stadium for a spot in the Fifth Round. 2-0 down at the time, a delightful ball from Tyler Blackett was met by high-jumping Omar Richards, who directed the cross goalwards, rocketing past the goalkeeper.
The second of the night for the Royals is up next, which saw relentless pressure from the Royals result in the equaliser on the night. A scramble in the box saw the loose ball struck sweetly by Andy Rinomhota - the volley soared past the stranded Cardiff players, and the keeper.
The third contender comes from our lengthy trip to Sheffield, to face Wednesday. A fantastic performance saw the Royals run rampant on 10-men Owls. The first goal of the afternoon being a terrific team move - Ovie Ejaria collecting the pass, and sliding through an immaculate ball into the box, for oncoming Yakou Méïté to place past the goalkeeper.
The last choice for Goal of the Month is George Pușcaș' superb finish in the 2-0 win over Barnsley. A big ball over the midfield from Jordan Obita was expertly controlled by the Romanian, flicking past his marker. With that touch, Puscas had that extra length to speed past his man and plant a brilliant finish into the corner from just outside the area.
Your final four contenders for Goal of the Month are:
- Omar Richards vs Cardiff City
- Andy Rinomhota vs Cardiff City
- Yakou Méïté vs Sheffield Wednesday
- George Pușcaș vs Barnsley
