The youngster takes the place of Jordan Obita, who drops out of the squad entirely - with Charlie Adam taking a place on the Reading bench against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Morrison captains the Royals against his former side, with Liam Moore on the bench and Matt Miazga partnering Morrison in the heart of defence.


Andy Rinomhota and Michael Olise keep their places in the side, with George Pușcaș and Yakou Méïté starting the match level on 11 goals each this season.

Garath McCleary and Ayub Masika are available as pacey options from the bench for the Royals, with Tyler Blackett, Pelé and Sam Walker also in reserve for Reading.
