We often ask the question: What does Reading FC mean to you?
But it has been 11 weeks since we were last all together at Madejski Stadium for our FA Cup tie against Sheffield United – and no doubt about it, we’re all missing it.
So the focus of the question this time is a little bit different: What are you missing most about football?
It stands to reason that the things that you love are probably the things that you’re missing most. Perhaps it’s getting wrapped up in a roller-coaster of emotion for 90 minutes, the half-time analysis with your pals over a pie and a pint, or helping to generate an atmosphere which helps the players to dig that little bit deeper.
But maybe it’s something different, or something that you hadn’t realised until now. A chance to spend time with friends and family that you might not otherwise, the camaraderie and community with the Season Ticket holders sat beside you, or making a fortnightly homecoming to Berkshire from further afield. The beautiful game means different things for different people.
So let us know what you’re missing most about the game – reply to the social media posts on Twitter or Facebook and we will pool together a selection in another website article next week.

We don’t know when we’ll all be together again at RG2, but as a club we’ll keep finding ways to bind together the Royals community, even while we’re apart.
