📯 Team news | Two changes for the Royals at The Den

Holmes and Meite start against Millwall this evening, while young Jayden Onen is named on the bench...

25 November 2020

Pauno has named his squad for tonight's clash against Millwall and he has made two changes to the starting eleven.

Tom Holmes will start at right back as Tomas Esteves drops to the bench, while Yakou Meite has recovered from injury to take a place in the starting eleven - Sone Aluko reverts to a role as a substitute.

Both Meite and Holmes came on in our loss at Bournemouth at the weekend, but both begin the game this evening - while 19-year-old Jayden Onen is named in the squad for the first time.

Onen joined our Under-23s ranks earlier this month and has impressed enough to be included in the manager's 20-man first team squad tonight.

Tom McIntyre continues to miss out as he self-isolates as a precautionary measure following notification from the Scottish FA that he may have been in proximity of a player who has tested positive whilst on international duty with Scotland Under-21.

Millwall start with former Royals defender Jake Cooper, while familiar faces also adorn their bench with Alex Pearce and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson named in the Lions' squad.

Millwall: Bialkowski, M Wallace, Hutchinson (c), Cooper, Williams, J Wallace, Thompson, Malone, Leonard, Woods, Parrott.
Subs: Fielding, Smith, Ferguson, Pearce, Brown, Bodvarsson, Skalak, Burey, Muller.

Reading: Rafael, Holmes, Richards, Moore (c), Morrison, Rinomhota, Laurent, Semedo, Meite, Ejaria, Joao.
Subs: Walker, Esteves, Watson, Gibson, Tetek, Olise, Aluko, Onen, Baldock.
