📱 New iFollow app launched ahead of the 2020-21 campaign

Make sure you’re ready to watch on phone or tablet

2 September 2020

If you want to watch our fixtures live on your phone or tablet this season, you’re going to need the new EFL iFollow app to get access to our games – beginning with our Carabao Cup game against Colchester United this Saturday.

As was announced last week, our games will be available to watch online as they happen during the early stages of this season, before fans are able to return to games.

And if you usually watch via your desktop or laptop computer, then nothing has changed – make sure you’ve signed up for a Match Pass and log in at readingfc.co.uk ahead of kick-off.

But if you would rather watch on your phone or tablet, get set for the new year by downloading the 'EFL iFollow' app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

This replaces the Reading Official App, which you’ll probably have been using before now… if you try to use it, it should prompt you to grab the new EFL iFollow app.

Here’s a bit of information about how to use it…

  • You will use your usually login credentials to sign in on the EFL iFollow app. If you don’t have one yet, please note that you cannot create a new account directly through the app – you will need to register for a new account by clicking here.
  • Match Passes must also be purchased through the club website, and will not be available to purchase directly through the app. To view the current Match Passes which are available or to purchase yours, click here.
  • To view details of any Match Passes that you have purchased, open the menu on the EFL iFollow app and select ‘Account’, and then ‘Subscription’
  • The match stream will be available from approximately one hour before kick-off on matchday
  • If you are experiencing any issues with the app, including problems in accessing your account or technical difficulties in watching games, you will need to email iFollow Support on ifollow@efl.com

26 August 2020

We wish to remind our fans that all supporters (including Season Ticket holders from 2019-20) who wish to watch live games on iFollow at the start of the 2020-21 campaign will need to purchase a Match Pass on a per-game basis.

Our intention is to go on sale with 2020-21 Season Tickets once we know precisely how many games our supporters will be able to see. For further information about our early plans for return to football and Season Tickets for the coming season, click here.
