Our internationals are back. From Armenia to Oakwell, Guinea-Bissau to Barnsley, the Royals are now focused on how they can help their club compete for a top six spot with eight games to go.
But there was still time for a few notable international appearances for those who have been away with their countries earlier this week…
Alfa Semedo: Guinea-Bissau vs Congo
Earlier in the international interval, the Royals midfielder scored for his country in Eswatini to keep his country's hopes alive of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations.
And results went Guinea-Bissau's way to set up a winner-takes-all encounter against Congo on Tuesday evening.
Semedo started in Bissau's Estádio 24 de Setembro and helped his country secure a 3-0 victory that meant they would qualify for their third successive African Cup of Nations Finals.
Piqueti scored the first for Guinea-Bissau at the end of the first half before Frédéric Mendy netted a second on 73 minutes and Jorginho rounded things off with the third for Guinea-Bissau with ten minutes to go.
George Pușcaș: Germany vs Romania; Armenia vs Romania
Striker George Pușcaș came off the bench and nearly scored an equaliser when Romania took on Germany in Bucharest at the weekend.
Their World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign had got off to a successful start with a win against North Macedonia.
But a Serge Gnabry goal separated the sides when a star-studded Germany side arrived in Romania, starting with the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Kai Havertz and Leroy Sane. But it took a good save from Manuel Neuer to deny the Royals forward a leveller in the 87th minute.
But Puscas' international break ended disappointingly as Armenia came from behind to beat Romania in front of 4.000 fans in Yerevan.
Romania had led 2-1 but Puscas saw red for a high foot as he went in to win the ball but accidentally caught his opponent in the chest - and the hosts scored two goals inside the final four minutes to register a 3-2 victory and and take top spot in Group J.
Dejan Tetek: Turkey U21 vs Serbia U21
Young midfielder Dejan Tetek was included in the Serbia Under-21 squad for the first time and saw his countrymen secure a 1-0 win in Turkey on Tuesday.
The Serbians' slender victory was secured courtesy of Svetozar Markovic.
Benjamin Purcell: Wales Under-18 training camp
Meanwhile young midfielder Benjamin Purcell linked up with his native Wales for a training camp with the Under-18s. Congratulations on your international involvement, Benjamin.
