The Jamaican Football Federation have named their 30-man squad for their upcoming friendlies in Japan, and once more Royals skipper Liam Moore has been named amongst the Reggae Boyz who will travel to East Asia to represent their country.
Moore and the Jamaica squad will face a trio of friendlies, and take on 28th ranked Japan on Thursday 3 June in Sakura, 25th ranked Serbia on Monday 7 June in Kobe, and the Japanese Olympic team/Japan U23 on Saturday 12 June in Nagoya.
Liam was called up by Jamaica, for whom he qualifies to play for through his parents, for the first time back in March, and made his international debut during a friendly against USA in Austria later that month.
He is now part of a rich heritage of Royals representatives to have turned out for Jamaica – including Garath McCleary, Jobi McAnuff, as well as Michael Hector and Adrian Mariappa, who will be heading to Japan with Moore this time around.
The full Reggae Boyz squad is as follows: Andre Blake (Philadelphia Union), Dennis Taylor (Humble Lions FC), Jaedine White (Cavalier SC), Dillon Barnes (Queens Park Rangers FC), Adrian Mariappa (Bristol City FC), Kasey Palmer (Bristol City FC), Amari Bell (Blackburn Rovers FC), Kemar Lawrence (Toronto FC), Wesley Harding (Rotherham United FC), Oneil Fisher (LA Galaxy), Alvas Powell, Devon Williams (Miami FC), Kevon Lambert (Pheonix Rising), Ravel Morrison, Blair Turgott (Östersunds FK), Junior Flemmings (Birmingham Legion), Damion Lowe (Al-Ittihad), Luca Levee (Harbour View), Tyreek Magee (Eupen), Lamar Walker (Miami FC), Bobby Reid (Fulham FC), Javon East (Santos de Guápiles), Shemar Nicholson (RSC Charleroi), Cory Burke (Philadelphia Union), Andre Gray (Watford FC), Jashaun Anglin (Miami FC), Ethan Pinnock (Brentford FC), Michael Hector (Fulham FC), Kevaugn Isaacs (Mount Pleasant), Liam Moore (Reading FC).
