Having previously been named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season and as the EFL's Young Player of the Season, Royals midfielder Michael Olise has now been handed a spot in the PFA's Championship Team of the Year.
The annual PFA Awards recognises the outstanding performers from every division and is voted for by the players, meaning that it's those Olise has come up against that deemed him worthy of a spot in the league's best eleven.
Finishing the season with an impressive seven goals and 12 assists, Michael has rightly caught the eye of many throughout the 2020-21 campaign.
Whether that be for sublime strikes against Barnsley, Derby County or Queens Park Rangers, or for astute assists in wins over Bristol City, Huddersfield or Rotherham, it goes without saying Olise's third season as a Royal has been one to remember.
Racking up a total of 44 league appearances during the term just passed, Michael has come through his first season as a regular starter with plenty of plaudits, largely down to his creativity and his ability to find or supply a goal seemingly from nowhere.
The full PFA Championship Team of the Year was as follows:
Tim Krul - Norwich City
Max Aarons - Norwich City
Ethan Pinnock - Brentford
Grant Hanley - Norwich City
Rico Henry - Brentford
Emi Buendia - Norwich City
Michael Olise - Reading
Oliver Skipp - Norwich City (On loan from Tottenham Hotspur)
Adam Armstrong - Blackburn Rovers
Ivan Toney - Brentford
Teemu Pukki - Norwich City
The PFA Awards will take place on Sunday 6 June 2021 from 7.30pm.
A huge congratulations to Michael from everyone at the club!
