During the months of March and April, Reading FC Women have two rescheduled Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixtures as well as the addition of a fourth-round FA Cup tie.
Kelly Chambers’ Royals were originally slated to travel to the Academy Stadium to take on Manchester City on Sunday 28th of March, but the match has been brought forward a day for a 5.30pm kick-off, which will be broadcast live on the BBC Red Button service.
The following weekend sees Reading in action on Saturday again as they take on West Ham Women at Madejski for a 2pm kick-off on April 3rd. The league match was originally slated to be held on the following day.
Finally, the FA Cup resumes, and Reading have drawn Tottenham in an all-WSL fourth-round clash on Sunday 18th April. The FA Cup had been on hold due to the postponements of “non-elite” football through government guidelines, meaning teams entering at the earlier stages were unable to play. However, the fourth-round tie between the Royals and Spurs will take place in April at Madejski Stadium.
