⭐ STAR Hall of Fame 2021 | Watch it as it happens, this Sunday!

Tune in to our Supporters’ Trust event on Facebook or YouTube

15 March 2021

In other years, the Princess Suite at Madejski Stadium has been packed out with members of Supporters’ Trust at Reading for the Hall of Fame event – when new names are inducted onto a prestigious list of all-time greats of the club.

This time around – and for the very first time – the Hall of Fame event will be hosted online, and broadcast on Facebook and YouTube. It will be broadcast on Sunday 21st March, with a 5-minute countdown starting at 7.30pm sharp on both platforms, and will give all of our fans the opportunity to tune in and watch along together.

The past year has forced us all to live our lives differently – and for many of us, that has meant endless Teams meetings and Zoom calls… we’ve all become rather used to seeing each other on screen, rather than in person!

And while we’ll certainly miss the chance to host the event at the club itself, it is fantastic to have the opportunity to open the virtual doors to all of our supporters to watch in sync, as well as to get some high-profile guests on the line as well!

25 new names will be added to the Hall of Fame on the night from across our history as we approach the 150th anniversary of Reading Football Club’s foundation, and some stars from recent seasons will join co-hosts Paul Allen and Roger Titford via video chat.

We won’t spoil the surprise of who you can expect to see interviewed… but suffice it to say, there are some key contributors from some promotion-winning campaigns, some long-lasting servants of the club and some goalscoring greats from seasons past.

Use the links below to set a reminder on YouTube or Facebook, so you’ll get an alert ahead of the event starting to watch it when the broadcast begins. You will be able to talk live with your fellow Royals supporters in the chat function on both platforms – so you can share your memories of our new inductees.
