Following on from a midweek win against Blackburn Rovers, there are two changes to the XI as Academy graduate duo Tom Holmes and Tom McIntyre both come in to start against Sheffield Wednesday.
The defensive pair come into the line-up to replace two absentees in Ovie Ejaria and Michael Morrison, who each miss out through injury.
Meanwhile former Owls striker Lucas João, who scored in the reverse fixture at Hillsborough, continues his partnership with George Pușcaș up top. The bench features six Academy graduates, with Tomás Esteves, Sone Aluko and Sam Baldock the exceptions.
And Royals boss Veljko Paunovic has also added himself to the injury list this week!
Not a coach to stand to one side and passively observe the first team training routines, Pauno suffered a painful shoulder injury as he fell awkwardly towards the end of a session at Bearwood Park earlier this week.
However, he will be in the dugout this afternoon, directing his players from the touchline as normal, leading by example by overcoming adversity and giving his absolute all from the first whistle to the last to help his side put in a performance worthy of three more valuable points against Sheffield Wednesday.
