With today’s news that Lauren Bruton is to part ways with the club, we take a look at a gallery of images from her time at Reading.
Bruton signed for the Royals in 2013 from Arsenal and was part of the WSL2 winning side of 2015 that gained promotion to the Women’s Super League.
Bruton has been a mainstay of the Royals attack, and made her England debut in 2018 in a World Cup Qualifying match against Kazakhstan. Bruton had previously represented her country at Under-17 and 19 level.
Manager Kelly Chambers said, “I’d like to thank Lauren for everything she has done for the club. Not only has it just been on the pitch but working with me to run the Academy program in our WSL 2 days.
“Brutes has had a great impact on the field and was heavily involved in our success of finish 4th in 2018. Brutes hasn’t played much of the last 2 seasons, but I know she will come back strong and I can’t wait to see her back on the pitch doing what she does best. I wish Lauren all the best in her next chapter.”
