Sone Aluko made the move to Reading in the summer transfer window ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
He came through the youth ranks at Birmingham City and was named on the bench as a 16-year old for a Premier League meeting with Arsenal at Highbury back in October 2005.
His full professional debut came north of the border however, when he joined Aberdeen on loan.
He scored nine goals in 96 appearances with Aberdeen before signing for Rangers in 2011, where he scored 12 more in just 19 Scottish Premier League starts under Ally McCoist - including a hat-trick in a final day win at St Johnstone in his final appearance for the club.
The pacey forward edged back over the border to sign for Hull City in 2012, helping the Tigers to achieve promotion to the top flight in his first full season on Humberside.
Having helped Fulham to the Play-Offs in 2017, he moved to RG2 that summer and made 40 appearances in Reading colours during his first season.
After 20 more appearances to begin the following season, Aluko joined Beijing Renhe on loan in January 2019 and will play his football in the Chinese league for Renhe until the turn of the new year.
