Liam Kelly is another first-team product who began his football in our Academy - stepping up through the ranks since the age of eight to eventually turn pro.
He has represented his country Republic of Ireland at youth level and played an integral role within the Under-18s and Under-21s format.
During 2015-16, Kelly was loaned out to Bath City in the National League South where he scored several goals to help the Romans avoid the drop and finish in 14th place for the season.
Kelly thrived in preparations for the 2016-17 season and found himself on the scoresheet against Boreham Wood, scoring a well-taken free-kick, part of a 5-0 win for the Royals in the first game of pre-season.
Kelly made 21 league starts in his breakthrough year, scoring his first goal to spark an incredible comeback at Ashton Gate at the start of 2017.
2017-18 was effectively his first season as a regular in the first-team setup; 38 games and seven goals helped him to reach the supporters' shortlist for Player of the Year at the season's end.
