Bag Drop Information

From the beginning of this season, Manchester United have introduced a £5 charge to leave an item at a Bag Drop. All profits will go to the Manchester United Foundation to support their work using football to engage and inspire young people across Greater Manchester to create a better life for themselves and the communities in which they live.

Any bags larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") are not permitted in the stadium, unless they contain essential medical or childcare items.

This restricted bag policy also applies to the areas in the immediate vicinity of the stadium itself (including the forecourts and the tunnels under the stands), so the Bag Drop facilities have been conveniently located on E2 car park, N2 car park and the back of W2 car park. You can find a map showing where the Bag Drop facilities and further safety and security details by opening the Visiting Supporters' Guide listed above.

Manchester United advise that the easiest thing is not to bring a bag or any unnecessary items with you on the day.

Further Information

  • From 10.30am on Saturday 22nd December, we will be offering Full and Half Season Ticket Holders along with existing Members who have purchase history the opportunity to purchase up to 4 tickets each
  • Due to the current limitations of our online system and different pricing options available for this fixture, we are only able to offer Members with 15+ points the opportunity to purchase 1 per Member online. All other supporters, including Season Ticket Holders will need to contact the Ticket Office in order to purchase
  • No further sales criteria will be in place for this game
  • Manchester United offer a discount for Season Ticket Holders and Members, however Reading FC have subsidised the cost of the most expensive tickets to ensure that no Season Ticket Holder or existing Member will pay more than £30 for their own ticket. Any additional tickets will be charged at the non-Member price.
  • Please note, supporters will not be able to choose their seat although the blocks have been split into a lower and upper section. We recommend supporters who prefer to remain seated or have young children should choose the lower rows
  • Supporters who do not know their Ticketing Loyalty Point totals can check online at www.readingfcdirect.co.uk
  • Any supporters who wish to purchase online and cannot login, please contact ticketing@readingfc.co.uk
  • The phone lines are expected to be extremely busy. The queue capacity will be managed to keep the waiting time no longer than 15 minutes
  • We advise that supporters using concession tickets carry photographic identification confirming their date of birth, in case a member of staff requests to see this on the matchday
  • Reading Football Club reserves the right to advise the hosting club if any supporter is believed to be in the possession of a concession ticket to which they are not entitled, which may result in the ticket being blocked and entry denied
