Can I purchase away tickets online?
Yes, in order to select an away fixture on www.readingfcdirect.co.uk you need to be logged in first.
Can I choose my seat?
Unfortunately not. We often have to follow a strict selling order set by the home club. We advise supporters with individual seating requests to visit the Ticket Office in person and our staff will be happy to assist you as much as possible. Tickets purchased online and over the phone will be allocated at a later date and we are unable to take any seating requests.
Will my tickets be posted to me?
Any tickets purchased up to 2 postage days before the match will be posted to you, unless you request the tickets to be held for collection from the Main Ticket Office at Madejski Stadium. Any ticket purchased over 7 days from fixture will be posted via 2nd class post. All overseas purchases will be held for collection from the Main Ticket Office next to Gate 5.
My tickets have not arrived in the post…
If you do not receive your tickets, please be patient and wait until the day before the game until phoning the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313. We will then arrange for duplicate tickets to be left for collection for you at the away club’s ticket office on the day. We will inform supporters if the away club does not offer a duplicate service when we release the selling information. In this instance it is likely we would offer supporters the option to pay for recorded delivery.
Can you send tickets to an alternative address?
Tickets can only be posted to the address that we hold on the supporters account.
How many Royalty Points do I earn on my Season Ticket or Member Card for an away match?
You receive 10 points for each away match purchased directly through Reading FC Ticket Office. If only one customer number is used to purchase multiple tickets, only 10 points will be awarded. The club is unable to retrospectively credit points for tickets purchased through the home club on the matchday itself.
Will Season Ticket holders be given priority on away tickets?
If the club sees a need to prioritise ticket sales, we will give Season Ticket holders priority over Member Card holders, likely using the Royalty Points system.
Do you arrange any travel to away matches?

When do you go on sale for each away fixture?
It is dependent on when we get the tickets sent to us by the home club, however we try to go on sale around 3 weeks before each away fixture. We will aim to keep the away games page on the website as up to date as possible for each upcoming fixture. We advise supporters to subscribe to our ECAL service which means that you can get fully synchronised with all of our fixtures, events and ticket on sale dates on your phone, tablet, desktop computer or internet-calendar.
