We will keep this area up to date to ensure that all questions are relevant to what we are currently being asked in the Ticket Office regarding away games.
If you have any other ticketing queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Ticket Office team on 0118 968 1313 or email@example.com.
To start with, you need to register an account on our system. The quickest way of doing this is on www.readingfcdirect.co.uk. All of the ticket information and away matches which we are on sale for will be listed under ‘Away Tickets’ on our website. If you have any queries though we will be happy to take your call. Our Ticket Office number is 0118 968 1313.
Yes - and in order to select an away fixture on www.readingfcdirect.co.uk, you will need to be logged in first.
Unfortunately not, as we often have to follow a strict selling order set by the home club. We advise supporters with individual seating requests to visit the Ticket Office in person and our staff will be happy to assist you as much as possible.
However for the majority of matches we will split the blocks given to us by the home club, and set aside the rows in the lower half of each block to supporters who prefer to be in a more ‘family friendly environment’ or may need to sit for the duration of the match due to walking difficulties.
Tickets purchased online and over the phone will be allocated at a later date and we are unable to take any seating requests other than choosing the block available.
Any tickets purchased up to 2 postage days before the match will be posted to you, unless you request the tickets to be held for collection from the Main Ticket Office at Madejski Stadium. Any ticket purchased over 7 days from the fixture will be posted via 2nd class post.
All overseas purchases will be held for collection from the Main Ticket Office next to Gate 5.
If you do not receive your tickets, please be patient and wait until the day before the game until phoning the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313. We will then arrange for duplicate tickets to be left for collection for you at the home club’s ticket office on the day. We will inform supporters if the host club does not offer a duplicate service when we release the selling information. In this instance it is likely we would offer supporters the option to pay for recorded delivery.
Tickets can only be posted to the address that we hold on the supporter's account.
You receive 10 points for each away match purchased directly through Reading FC Ticket Office. If only one Member ID is used to purchase multiple tickets, only 10 points will be awarded. The club is unable to retrospectively credit points for tickets purchased through the home club on the matchday itself.
If the club sees a need to prioritise ticket sales, we will give Season Ticket holders priority over Member Card holders, likely using the Ticketing Loyalty Points system.
Our Supporters’ Trust (STAR) arranges coach travel for away fixtures. Please click here for further information.
We advise anyone wishing to attend a match to purchase in advance. Subject to availability most clubs allow sales on the day, although there is often a price increase.
We do not normally have this confirmed by the home club until 2-3 days before the fixture. As soon as we know, we communicate this information on the ‘Away Tickets’ page.
Most clubs following a similar Disabled Ticketing policy to Reading Football Club, which can be found by clicking here.
Each Club will send us an allocation of wheelchair accessible tickets along with suggesting the best seats for ambulant disabled supporters.
Tickets can be booked through our Disability Liaison Paul Collins on 0118 968 1017.
It is dependent on when we get the tickets sent to us by the home club, however we try to go on sale around 3 weeks before each away fixture. We will aim to keep the away games page on the website as up to date as possible for each upcoming fixture.
We advise supporters to subscribe to our ECAL service which means that you can get fully synchronised with all of our fixtures, events and ticket on sale dates on your phone, tablet, desktop computer or internet-calendar. To subscribe, just click here.
