Ahead of our designated Rainbow Laces game on Saturday, our Principal Partner Casumo pledged to donate £10 for every pass made by a Reading player against Nottingham Forest.
Not only that, but they also promised to add £100 to their generous donation for every goal the Royals scored against Chris Hughton's men at the weekend.
And, following Lucas Joao's penalty and Michael Morrison's second half header, we've added it all up - and our club partner will deliver the grand total of £5,420 to two charities supporting inclusivity in sport.
The home side were all sporting shirts which had a special rainbow-coloured Casumo logo emblazoned on it, while the club also made history by installing rainbow goal nets in front of the Eamonn Dolan Stand and the South Stand - Veljko Paunovic's men rippling both during the course of the 2-0 victory.
The fantastic total donated by Casumo will now be split between Stonewall and an Allied Rainbow Communities charity in Casumo's native country of Malta, Malta Pride.
Reading Fooball Club prides itself on being a family club, diversive and inclusive, bringing football to all who want to follow us and support the Royals from the stands! So a bit thank you to Casumo for their generous donation to two very worthy charities.
