Weather conditions have once again impacted Reading FC Women’s fixtures, as the postponed FA Cup 5th Round tie against Leicester has been moved to this coming Thursday and the scheduled WSL clash with Arsenal on Sunday has been moved to a yet-to-be-confirmed date.
Kelly Chambers’ Royal were originally scheduled to take on Leicester City on Sunday in the 5th Round of the FA Cup, but weather conditions and flooding that blocked access to Farley Way Stadium meant the fixture was called off on the morning of the game for safety reasons. The rescheduled tie will now take place this coming Thursday 20th February at 7.45pm, again, at Farley Way Stadium.
This coming Sunday, 23rd, Reading were due to take on Arsenal in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League at Meadow Park, but due to Arsenal having their own FA Cup tie postponed at the weekend, the match with the Royals has been postponed, the rescheduling to be confirmed at a later date.
