Young Reading defender, Andre Burley, will start for the Royals' first team in his senior debut on Saturday afternoon, as Reading gear up to face Blackpool.
There's a strong Academy presence in the Royals' squad this afternoon, with 11 of the matchday 18 coming from our youth ranks - six of which in the starting line-up in RG2.
Teddy Howe, Burley (who will wear squad number 42), Jordan Obita, Andy Rinomhota, Michael Olise and Omar Richards all feature for Reading, who have made 11 changes from their midweek win over Fulham.
The only survivor from the festive rigours to be in the matchday squad on Saturday is Tyler Blackett, who is among the substitutes at Madejski Stadium.
Reading's bench also features returning loanees, Sone Aluko and Luke Southwood, with Aluko taking a new squad number of 23 and Academy 'keeper Southwood wearing 43.
Sam Walker will start in goal, with Matt Miazga and Garath McCleary returning to the line-up, as well as Sam Baldock and Lucas Boyé leading the line up front.
