The EFL have today confirmed the dates and times of the final fixtures of the season across its three divisions – including a coordinated kick-off for the last of the 46 league games in each division and the play-off dates, which culminate at Wembley on spring bank holiday weekend.
Huddersfield Town’s visit to Madejski Stadium is the final league outing of our 2020-21 campaign – and along with the other 11 fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship, it will begin at 12.30pm on Saturday 8th May.
Then the four teams which finish between 3rd and 6th in the table will contest the play-offs – both semi-finals will see each leg taking place on the same day. The first legs are on Monday 17th May (6pm and 8.15pm), and the seconds legs are to be contested on Saturday 22nd May (12.30pm and 5.30pm). Then the winners meet at Wembley a week later – it’s a 3pm kick-off under the arch on Saturday 29th May, with a place in the Premier League for the victors.
A reminder to our supporters that our upcoming home games against Cardiff City (Friday 16th April, 6pm) and Swansea City (Saturday 24th April, 12pm) have each been selected for Sky Sports coverage. The TV selections for the final date of the season will be announced by the EFL and Sky Sports in due course.
In addition, the EFL have confirmed the fixture release date for the Sky Bet Championship 2021-22 season to be Thursday 24th June at 9am.
