Back in the starting XI and on the scoresheet against Derby… George Pușcaș is targeting consecutive wins when we head to Watford this Friday.
The Romanian forward was the match-winner when the two sides met at Madejski Stadium at the start of the season; now he wants a repeat result when we head to Hertfordshire for a Friday-night clash.
“It felt good against Derby,” he said. “Every time that I can play and help the team with my goals and my performance, I am happy. When we take the three points, that is the most important thing. So I have to keep working like that and looking forward to the next game.
“I think it will be a tough game against Watford. Everyone knows they are a good team and they play good football. But we play good football as well, so it will be a nice game for us.
“It was a big victory against them when we played them at home. Now we play away – we need at least the same performance that we did when we played at home, because if we can match them, then we can take the three points. For sure we are going there for victory.
“They have good players… we have good players as well. I don’t look much at them and what players they have… I look at what players we have. We have a team that wants to work, wants to build something together.
“We are there because we work hard and we have this common goal. At the end of the season, we can achieve something big.”
