Royals full-back Andy Yiadom will hope to represent Ghana for the first time since 2019, having been called up to the Black Stars squad for their upcoming friendlies in Morocco, and at home in Ghana.
The Ghanians will host a training camp prior to two friendlies, which will see them do battle with Morocco on Tuesday 8 June, and Ivory Coast four days later on Saturday 12 June.
Ghana's latest friendlies will be part of their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, to be played at the start of 2022, and for the qualification process for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar at the end of next year.
Ghana confirmed their place for the Cup of Nations in March, finishing top of a qualification group ahead of Sudan, South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.
Yiadom who debuted for his country back in January 2017, last represented Ghana in July 2019, playing the entirey of a 1-1 draw with Tunisia. If he pulls on the Black Stars shirt once again in June, Yiadom will make his 14th, and perhaps 15th appearances on the international stage.
All the best to Andy in his latest international endeavours!
